International school surrounded by greenery
A protected and welcoming place, surrounded by greenery
At the end of Via Colombo, in the residential area of the town of Merate, there is the courtyard of the Villoresi Institute. Outdoor learning areas, sports fields, indoor workshops, a conference room and the splendid 600-seat auditorium: everything has been designed and built to create a serene, comfortable and functional place.
The former Institute of the "English Ladies", renovated to accommodate innovative education
The Collegio Villoresi, “Istituto Beata Vergine Maria” until 2007, inherited from the Sisters of Mary Ward a long tradition of rigorous teaching and quality spiritual formation.
Over time, it has become a cultural crossroads that is an expression of the Ambrosian Church in Alta Brianza.
A high quality of teaching, which distinguishes the Villoresi
In continuity with the Monza school, the study of foreign languages is also strongly reinforced in Merate, both thanks to the multilingual project and to the cultural exchanges organised for all schools.
The school timetable and optional afternoon projects have also been reorganised, in order to adapt the educational offer to the new needs of families.
A renewed staff: a cohesive team with a consistent approach across the two sites
When the vision of Collegio Villoresi was renewed, a new way of organising the workforce was also introduced. Part of the teaching staff, in fact, works across both sites, sharing methods and activities and promoting collaboration not only between class councils, but also between pupils themselves in all schools.
